TALKED TO MARK LAST NIGHT....

Last night a bunch of us met in the Talk Shoe chat room..Mark was speaking about some new changes coming soon to Bonanzle...I called into the show of course to ask a question that was just way too long to type in the chat window..must have been at least 40 people in there...People from outside of Bonanzle came in to ask questions ...I believe last night part of the conversation was about making chatting even easier and faster and my thought was dag soon we will be on TV talking to each other..wow..guess I'll have to get dressed and put a bra on for that..lol!!!One of the speakers was talking about how other venues have a program called an API that in the case of you selling same items on more than one venue would delete the listing from the other venues that the item did not sell in......this is where I called in.. because there had been talk about GOOGLE not liking us having same items on different venues and going through them..(GOOGLE)...so I thought there was kind of a contradiction there..and Mark said to check with GOOGLE and see exactly what their policy was on that...will do .....I still have a few questions I want answered...will save them for the show on the 4th of March..the next TALK SHOE...they aren't neccessarily questions for Mark only..but just questions in general....better write them down..All in all I love going to these show..I really do learn a lot from them...Until next time..I'm out....

RUMOR HAS IT..A NEW FILLY

After I and about 20-24 other people gathered in Dcoyotes booth for 4 days and nights watching and waiting for RUMOR to foal(give birth)...she finally did it at 2:56 am Est on Tuesday February 16, 2010.. It all started when Dcoyote posted a link in the BONANZLE forums that this horse was about to foal...well we were all going about our own business and once we stopped and went to the link everything else took a back burner...literally..some had to go to work ,,didn"t want to leave the cam..some had appointments and Valentines day was Sunday husbands wanted to take wives to dinner ..no one wanted to really leave..they did cause they had too only! We met and chatted,,we had contests,,we got to know each other..I hated to ever shut down or leave...Now that its over we plan on meeting in others booths for the births of others..I saw triplet goats and a filly born to a mini horse named SILHOUETE ..SILLY for short (no pun intended).. But not only did we get a beautiful healthy filly out of all this..we made new friends and we were like a family for a few days...It was surreal and I can't wait to do it again..there are others ready to be born within the next few weeks and we plan on meeting in each others booths..I can't wait..got to clean my booth and get some refreshments in mind for my guests...We had a contest for the time of birth once we realized that this would be the day...SILKWORM won and she gets a great package with items donated from about 10 different booths...ALL IN ALL IT WAS A SURREAL EXPERIENCE AND CONGRATULATIONS RUMOR...

MY MY MY BONANZLE

I've discovered Bonanzle quite by accident ...or was it fate??? I was in the Harley neighborhood on Ebay and there was someone on there that was having a hard time ...getting ready to lose her home and money was funny and all kinds of things were going on in her life. She let you know that she was in trouble and still trying to sell her stuff on Ebay...I wrote to her with words of encouragement and tried to make her know there would be light at the end of the tunnel...even though I wasn' really sure!! She would write back and thank me for the kind words...One day I decided to check out her "store"..lots of nice things...but I wanted the "lot of 100 pair of earrings"... so I wrote to her and told her that I would be purchasing them on the 3rd of the month ..she told me okay and told me that they were also listed in her "booth" on Bonanzle...well of course I had to sound it out ,,then I remember saying "What the heck is a Bonanzle?"It took me a few days before I checked out Bonanzle..but when I did I liked what I saw...I looked it over and left...I remember about 2 days later I went and signed on...I signed because the front page said all I had to do was use my email..a password..zip code and whatever else...4 things...so I knew it had to be easy and I could do this...that was november 5, 2008 and I love the place more than ever...I have done okay...sold 102 things since november ...on ebay I sold about 8 in the same time frame...and the cost comparison...well there is no comparison....I still have a few things on the bay but am weening myself away....
I do a lot of promoting on Bonanzle and play most of the games,,and wish sales were more...but I know the economy sucks right now...but I have things that people need and at darn good prices...I think anyway!!!!! I just have to get the google base right and make sure my attributes and traits and bullets are in place...Now that I have talked another languge I will leave you...Hope to see you all on BONANZLE

BONANZLE TALK SHOE SHOW..

Anyone that attended this show tonight left with more helpful tips and knowledge than when they came in...Phaedra (attheboutique) and Judy (bluepennylady) were flowing with answers to questions and made them understandable to the ordinary Joe...I actually got what they were saying..From what I heard they touched on a few things that I remember..
One was business suicide..where you have too many sales or lower the prices of your items too often..Learned that WE have to train he customers to know that your prices are where they are because they are worth that and to lower them too often lessens their worth...makes sense to me..My things are always on sale...Have some things to do ...Another subject was your SELLER ID...thats what you will be known as..that will be what people will type in to find you on certain forums or venues...So this is where I called and wanted to elaborate a bit more on that..because thats something I never really took real serious....never looked at it like that..so I wanted to see if we couldn't make sure that those coming in to sign up on BONANZLE as a seller to really think of what they want their SELLER ID name to be...to not use punctuaions and/or symbols in your name because GOOGLE doesn't pick those things up readily..and GOOGLE is a major or the major search engine for selling venues...Learned that Ebay does not allow you to be your SELLER ID on GOOGLE..but BONANZLE does...thats a big plus...I will write to the boys to see what the protocol is on the application when sellers sign up..and if the importance of SELLER ID is expressed in a way that people know the seriousness of it...
They had a contest...we had to go to a website and find the 33rd word...whoever got it right first wond 3 month memebership to the website...I didnt win...I forget who won..I will find out.. They spoke a bit about the meeting coming up in Las Vegas...sure wish I could make that one...I will add to this blog...
If you ever get the chance to attend one of these shows..do it...its simple ..just turn up your volume..you dont have to call...you can write your questions or thoughts in the chat box..they can read what you're writing..they write too..its awesome great experience..THANKS PHAEDRA AND JUDY..for taking the time to help us and teach us what you know and care what we think and answer our questions..
