Bonanza lately...

I'm a little conflicted right now about Bonanza..I still love them and really want to stay there..I like the atmosphere ...most of the time..but lately I'm getting bad vibes...I see a lot of people ..sellers ...are having a hard time with Bonanza...some have left..some are leaving...most of us list our items on more than one venue..I being one of those that do...I haven't always agreed with everything Bonanza has done in the past...I didn't like at all that they changed their name without any of us knowing ahead of time..I still slip and say Bonanzle...I could go on and on with some things they've done that I didn't like..but I stay with them because I think in the long run they will be very successful and hopefully I will start selling things on there..I sell on Ebay everyday...and just started listing on Addoway...I have things listed in other places too...I like selling..I like everything about it...and would love to do this for years to come..I will always have something to sell....always...so for now ...I will keep listing and just be aware of all that goes on...

Bonanza is a big part of my everyday life...

When I first was introduced to Bonanza a little over 2 years ago I was going there to sell my wares on another selling venue...I did that..but immediately I started making friends...in the forums...from people welcoming me...2 years later and I still have the same friends I started with ...some have left Bonanza but I am friends with them on facebook and or twitter...oh this social media thing is so awesome..to tell you the truth I would be totally lonely if not for these venues...I have friends in real life but we don't see each other ...some of us talk on the phone occassionally..but we never get to do lunch or tea ...we reallly need to make the time to do these things before its too late...I have met a few friends from Bonanza in person...and I love each and every one of them and look forward to the day we can do that again...Every day I go onto Bonanza and I go right to the forums to see whats going on...to see whos saying what and who needs congratulations and who needs prayers..I feel wqanted and needed when I do this..sometimes when I sign on I have a message or two in my b box and I love that...getting attention from somewhere..I dont mean to sound all lonely and pitiful cause thats not it..I'm just saying that there is no othervenue like this anywhere..not in any chatroom..not anywhere...Even If I don't sell anything from one day to the next..I will love the people and thats what keeps me there...selling is just a hobby of mine... I love selling...I need the xtra income but I never make enough to do much with it..I dont ever expect to make lots of money doing this..but its nice to have contact with the outside world...love packaging up the items and sending them and then getting feedback..sounds like I crave attention ..but I just like the human interaction of it all...

Update from last post...

this is an update on the incident between our newest social media rep and
russ and Mary...Jeremy has written an apology.. I felt it was sincere and heartfelt...I think it shocked him that he was totally busted for this mistake...he thought he was talking to a buddy of his..turns out he was talking to a fellow bonanza seller...lots of us were outraged..I being one of the most outspoken and couldnt at the time even imagining forgiving him for this ...no matter what he said...but after reading other peoples post and how we all were young once and made mistakes we wish we could do over or take back it really got me to thinking that was quite true...I made mistakes...I accepted his apology and hope that he learns from this mistake...a lesson should be learned from every mistake we make...dont ever, do it again..listen to the old heads ..I have gotten on with my life...A side effect of this is that several of my friends have left Bonanza ..I understand it...I almost left myself...but for now I have no other recourse...I have many friends On bonanza that I interact with each day..I do sell occassionally and its free to have my listings there..One day I hope to have a "specialty" item to sell and perhaps have my own website....

Is the end of my days at Bonanza...??

How would you feel about this? While doing my usual thing on FB I see the person hired to do the social media duties on Bonanza has also posted on a thread I am on. I think cool! A Bonanza employee! I will request friendship. This is the message I am sent by the social media rep:

I do hope you’re the type of beast who accepts constructive criticism with grace. Please don’t think me rude for saying so, but we humans usually use Facebook for befriending people we know in person. I can’t remember meeting a genius dog, and I think that’s something I would remember. I understand why you might be seeking friendship outside of your peers, given your anomalous IQ, but I thought you might like to know.

This is the very person hired to be our social media rep. Sweet huh?? Would one not think if they were hired for that type of position that they may have people sending friend requests and to have the god given brains to see if perhaps the requester was a part of the site you work on


To say I am beyond offended is putting it mildly. If he said this crap to me who else that are buyers and sellers has he responded to in this manner


***THE ABOVE IS TO RUSS A FRIEND FROM BONANZA...He was tring to friend someone that he noticed was a part of bonanzas team...the letter is the response that was sent to him...I find the appalling and insulting...no human being should talk to anothe human being in this manner especially when not provoked...this is a young punk that should be immedialtely fired and not thought of again...I along with others are seriiously thinking of leaving Bonanza...a lot of us were there from the first year..I have been there for a little over 2 years now..and I have to say there are times when they had me mad before but not like this....this is way over the top...I have voiced my opinion on this matter a few times on other blogs and on facebook...I'm trying to keep it clean but there are words that would really be appropriate right about now...As far as I can tell there has been nothing done about this on Bonanza part and I think thats the most frustrating part...he should have been fires within the first hour...they know whats happening..they have been emailed..bemailed and facebooked with messages...do they think it was a joke?? I hope not because I dont want to deal with people with that type of sense of humor...I will add to this when I have more to say....

Just a God send from friends..

I feel as though this should be in two of my blogs..this one for Bonanza stories and the one titled THINGS THAT AFFECT MY LIFE...I've been feeling a little down lately...and one day this big box came ...I couldnt for the life of me guess what it was..I didn't order anything this big...anyway...I opened the box..it was well wrapped and there lo and behold was the most beautiful Christmas centerpiece ever...there was a card in it from Judy/jinx saying that Annapple had won it during the WOE sale and she asked that it be sent to me..How cool is that..It was a complete surprise and it couldnt have come at a better time..I was so humbled by this and I was in shock for awhile..then I cried a bit...I was so what else could I say humbled...my daughter was here when it came and she was amazed..they just up and sent it to me..Joyce 72747 , I understand paid for the shipping..so to all of them I thanked them in a thread ...I really love them for that..I loved each one before this..they are all great ladies from Bonanza..that what sets Bonanza apart from other selling venues...the comraderie...the real friendships, the love and support is just amazing..The centerpiece is at my daughters waiting for us to celebrate Christmas ...it illuminates her home....its beautiful....I love this Season...

Day 2 of the 7 days of deals Auction...

Well I thought we all had a great time last night at the 7 days of deals auctions...I bought one item ..I won a door prize and I sold two items...we had some problems for some people with the chat windows...I had a little problem towards the end...but all in all it was well worth..I think Nativebydesignz did an awesome job..and annimae took over for her occassionally..and pugs was there and so many others...angie was there..everyone did their part...I stayed as long as I could ..then sleepiness took over...it was later out here on the East coast...than on the west coast(they are 3 hours behind us) ...but there was so many items to auction off that we will be continuing it tonight ...same times ..I am looking forward to it..I had fun...theres so much more to see..about 10 more booths and they only auctioned 2 items per booth..we submitted 8 items each...no way we can get thru all them ...So if you're reading this...Please come on by and join us..You have to Christmas shop anyway..why not save money at the same time...see you there..

Christmas shopping on BONANZA...2010

I don't know about you but I have been swirling around Bonanza looking for sales..one good way is to take advatage of some of the games..Like on Mondays we play MANIC MONDAY where its buy onE get one free..everYone makes up a category and puts in that category items they would like to sell as buy one get one..you can really find some great deals this way..I have...lol...then theres the LIMBO game ..that is played every other Wednesday and ends on Saturday evening..The main jIst of the game is for the seller to make a LIMBO category and in it are items they are willing to sell for a lesser amount...potential buyers then can make an offer on an item and wait for the seller to respond...great deals can be found this way also...Right now we are gearing up to have a WOE (Words of encouragement ) 10 day sale event.. Everyone uses the same coupon code (WOE) but decides on their own percentage off ...there are over 50 booths participating and some awesome buys can be found...On the 17th of November there will be auctions from many many booths..It will take place in NATIVEBYDESIGNZ BOOTH..we all submitted 8 items we want auctioned off ..we gave Native our starting bid..this is going to be fun...also a great way to find some great bargains....

Theres also a game called 7 Days of deals ...from Monday to Sunday you visit the booths that are listed in the thread promoting this game...Each booth is set up with their own Coupon codes and percentages off..Not everyone will have a coupon code..Most booths take offers..If you really want something and would like to offer a different price there are was to do that..either bmail the seller to see if they are willing to accept an offer..or do the cart and on most invoices there will be an option for you to make an offer...the seller will get back to you with either an acceptance or a decline...when you make a purchase from one of the list booths you go back to the thread and report it..same thing if you sell something..report it..and the host will keep tabs ...prizes are given for seller of the week...etc...right now they are holding in thread auctions..If you want to auction something you just post a picture of it in the thread with a small description and starting bid and when the auction will end..It is up to you to keep tabs on the developement of the auction...Another great thing in this thread is that each booth can go to other booths and post a picture of an item from someone elses booth...for others to see...I like that..I try to post every day...doesnt always happen...
